Steps to Charter a New Chapter

1. Gather Interested Members

  • Identify and connect with other Korean American interest dental professionals in your area.
  • Hold an initial meeting to gauge interest and discuss the benefits of forming a chapter.

2. Form a Founding Committee

  • Select a group of committed individuals to form the founding committee.
  • Assign roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

3. Develop a Charter and Bylaws

  • Draft a charter that outlines the mission, vision, and objectives of your chapter.
  • Create bylaws that define membership criteria, governance structure, meeting frequency, and other operational details.

4. Submit an Application to KADA National

  • Complete the official chapter application form below.
  • Attach the proposed charter and bylaws.
  • Include a list of founding members and their roles.

5. Review and Approval

  • The KADA National Board will review your application.
  • You may be asked to provide additional information or make revisions to your documents.
  • Once approved, you will receive an official charter certificate.

6. Launch Your Chapter

  • Plan a launch event to introduce your chapter to the local dental community.
  • Promote your chapter through social media, local dental associations, and community events.
  • Begin hosting regular meetings and events to engage members and advance your chapter’s goals.
